ADMINISTRATION OF THE  WEBSITE

This Interface, secured by login and password, allows day-to-day updates of the catalogue, products, prices, and processing of the booking requests.

1) Catalogue

Products

The products are ordered by families. These families are fully customizable

Each product file includes
-    Descriptive texts (product name, short description, long description, Google maps)
-    A zone to download pictures (3 pictures)
-    The “gift voucher” option, which allows to propose the product in a non-dated form valid for a defined period

Options

The options are services which are proposed in association with a product (for instance a dinner or an airport transfer with a hotel room). Depending on the product, they can be cumulated or not.

2) Pricing

To take into account the seasonality, prices are set by season.
Each season is defined through a starting date and an end date. The number of seasons is unlimited.

For each season, the prices are defined in the following criteria:

- according to the nature of the product (package tour, excursion, cabaret, restaurant, hotel room, …)
- calendar  (day of the week, time of visit, unavailable periods, exceptionally opened days)
- options associated with this product (to be selected in the list of optioned created in the catalogue)
- prices of the options (adult, child fare)

3) Configuration of the website

- Definition of the languages for the public screens displaying the catalogue of products.
- Translation grid for the keywords of the public screens in relation with the languages selected by the operator of the site.
- Customization of the mails sent to the clients

4) Tools available only in the All-in-one version


Free pages

Editor of web pages with all the functionalities of a Word processor.
Possible to inclue images.
Possibility to set the ranking of the free pages in the menu.

This tool can be used for all pages except the catalogue pages (« About us », General sales conditions », …)

Control of the Home page of the public site

The administrator has at his disposal a text box to manage the editorial of the home page.
He can also select 4 products to be featured directly on the home page.

Email adresses data base

The data base is fed by the public site and allows collecting the addresses given by the visitors through the form meant for this purpose.

Statistics

Possibility to insert the codes to view statistics tools such as Google Analytics.

Customer management platform

All the customer files are stored in a list allowing to display:

- The files to be processed (files requiring an action from the administrator)
    > answer a client’s message
    > validate a payment
- The on-going file (possibility to communicate with the client or modify the booking request)
- The archives (all files with a past date of realization)
- The problem file (rejection from the bank, payment error)

Export function in Excel, text, CSV formats for use in any office software.

All the communication between the client and the administrator takes place through the online system. Emails are used only as alert.
All data related to a customer file are stored on the server. Each time the administrator makes a change or adds a message in the customer file, an alert email is sent to the client to ask to go on his file through a link provided in the email. This functionality can be deactivated when processing the file.
Template letters can be created and stored in order to accelerate the processing of the files.
The booking requests are not automatically validated after receiving the payment. It is the administrator who validates manually each booking order.

PUBLIC WEBSITE

Catalogue display

The navigation menu includes the list of product families and editorial pages. This menu is constantly accessible on all viewed pages. According to the languages created in the back-office, the visitor can select one or the other language.
 
Each product family is presented on one page displaying all the products of the family with a mini picture and a descriptive text
All the pages of the catalogue are automatically produced from the information entered in the data base. Any modification is immediately taken into account. The page lay-out and design can be customized by us.

The product pages are displayed with:
- The availability calendar and the price
- Selection button to add to the shopping cart
- full description of the product
- pictures to illustrate

Shopping cart:

Display of the shopping cart with possibility to modify it (cancellation of a product, add an option, automatic recalculation of the total quote)

When finishing his visit on the website, the client can validate his shopping cart, which implies:
- the capture of the client’s details
- the final validation of the shopping list (safeguard of the data in the data bank)
- the call of the bank secured interface
- the sending of the alert mail to the client with a link to his file.

The client has an interface to access to his file. To do that, he can use a connection box displayed on the home page of the website.
All later communication between the server and the client is done through this interface.

Marketing and animation of the site

- Editorial modifiable
- Selection of products to be put forward
- Collect of emails through a form to feed a mailing list

TECHNOLOGY

Our software is hosted on a server managed by the Welcome Management Systems Company.

All our programs are created in the LAMP environment (Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP)
